Oh, by the way, if you see Cory, don't tell him about the quilt! It's for his birthday in October!! I thought I'd get a head start, as I take a little more time now to finish things than I used to! It's a good thing I don't have a full-time job, as I'd never get anything done!!
Right now, I am working on a quilt for my grandson, Cory (ssshhh! It's for his birthday in October, so help me keep it a secret!). It is a "strip" quilt using the "Sock Monkey" fabric, and is mostly in colors of red and brown, and will have a red backing. I'll make him a pillowcase to match. I am not quilt finished with the blocks, but will probably finish them this week, then starts the chore of quilting the individual blocks. I have to do this on the sewing machine, as my right hand has some problems and will not do hand quilting any more!
